Russ Bell's career began delivering furniture for a hometown store as a junior in high school. Within a year, he learned sales, financing and customer service. Before he graduated from high school, he even was responsible for opening, operating and closing a branch store on Saturdays.
At the University of South Carolina, Russ earned a Bachelor's in Finance and later earned a Masters of Public Health. His early banking career was in lending and relationship management. He practiced these skills in retail and commercial banking as well as credit administration and correspondent banking.
In response to a customer's offer that he could not refuse, Russ transitioned to the senior housing industry providing safe, secure and appropriate housing for the elderly. Over the next 17 years, from either managing one building or sixteen, Russ built and motivated teams working in challenging and highly competitive markets.
Russ draws on his leadership experience to help companies and associations build more positive attitudes. He works with teams to create more positive relationships resulting in more connected clients and improved profitability.
